I have a Windows 2000 Server computer running Oracle 8.1.7. We are trying to change the Win2000 administrator's password on the server. When that password is changed, a remote user cannot log into their database application. I have no experience with Oracle databases. Any detailed help would be really appreciated.

in case they are looking into any kind of batch jobs etc, then they might need to recompile that with the new admin passwords.
(if they are logging in as administrators_)
