Hello

I am new to the Oracle NTworld.
I installed the basic version 8.1.7 with a starter database into my laptop.

When I run "svrmgrl" and "connect internal" from a DOS
prompt..its asking for a password. I have checked the SID and ORACLE_HOME which is set.

What might be the problem .??

Thanx
Balaji

Hi,
When it prompts for the password..just give it as
oracle (Default password for internal)...also assuming that nobody has changed that...
